Big boy words (not to be confused with Bob’s Big Boy, a restaurant chain fading into blessed memory.) For anyone who doesn’t have kids, you find yourself using a phrase similar to “use your big boy/girl words,” when dealing with a small child who would rather rely on the babytalk that got them through the first few months of their lives instead of learning to speak English.

On an unrelated note, lately I’ve been reading Wired.com’s  Geek Dad – Raising Geek Generation 2.0 blog, since it really speaks to me as a) a geek and b) a dad. Funny how that works, huh? They often have RPG-related articles over there, such as The Top 10 D&D Modules I Found in Storage This Weekend. GeekDad also has a lot of articles about getting kids into science and math and is just a fun read. Go check it out.

Oh, and by the way, why not let me know how you all like the new color strips by dropping me a comment or two. It’d make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, but maybe that’s TMI. I dunno.
